Master of Science in engineering is differed from Master of Engineering. We support and offer many projects for MS thesis in NS 2 to analyze the performance of various routing protocol, network protocol, security mechanism, and energy efficiency. We guide students to develop MS thesis on wireless sensor networks, cognitive radio networks, and mobile ad hoc networks. Our main aim is to ensure communication deployment, computing among various networks, and it is done by simulation tool.
Routing Methods in NS2:
We adopt various routing methods in NS 2 for academic projects based on IEEE papers are:
Reactive Routing Protocols:
It referred as an on- demand routing protocols. We implemented this routing method to create and maintain routes when they are needed. AODV and DSR are reactive routing protocols.
Proactive routing protocols:
It is also known as table driven routing protocols. These protocols are used by us to update routing information in each network. WRP, OLSR, and DSDV are proactive routing protocols.
Hybrid Routing Protocol:
It can combine various features of reactive and proactive routing methods. ZRP is one of hybrid routing protocol.
The various types of hybrid routing protocols are described by us. There are
- Ad Hoc On Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol:
It denotes as AODV. We apply this protocol to establish a path from source to destination with respect to route request, reply and error messages. AODV protocols are very essential for maintain route information and route validation. Message flooding is occurred because source nodes send a route message to all neighboring nodes at the time of route establishment. By using this method we can find out the best path and maintained feedback comments.
- WRP:
Wireless routing protocols is a proactive protocols. This protocol is implemented by us to maintain routing information for routing loops. WRP contains different type of table structure. They are routing table, link cost table, distance table and mange transmission table. It is mainly implemented to interchange routing table information to neighboring node.
- OLSR:
We apply this optimized link state routing protocol for various network communications. It works on the basis of topology and neighbor selection. Overall cost is reduced by distributing information of all network nodes.
- ZRP:
Zone routing protocol is implemented as hybrid protocol to ensure a best solution occurred in proactive and reactive protocol. This protocol is deployed to maintain route, updating routing table. It is composed of four elements, such as inter zone routing protocol, broadcast routing protocol, intra zone routing protocol and MAC level functions. Different protocols are supported and developed by us to ensure on efficient in thesis.
We supported and created more than 90 theses in Ns2 with various network communications by our technical team in an efficient way.
